Freezer Lambs

Why Lamb?

Lamb is a food you can feel good about eating. It is low in fat and an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Lamb is an especially good source of easily absorbed zinc and iron, which are essential for growth, tissue repair, a healthy immune system and the formation of red blood cells. Lamb is also rich in B vitamins which are necessary for the body’s metabolic functions.

Why Shamrock Farms Lamb?

Shamrock Farms is a family owned and operated purebred sheep farm located in the rolling hills of Springwater, NY. All lambs are bred, raised and cared for on our farm. Our purebred Suffolk, Dorset and Shropshire lambs are bred solely for their meat. This means you receive larger, leaner cuts than Supermarket products. Most supermarket lamb is imported from New Zealand or Australia. Buying our locally grown lamb means you receive a product that is up to 10,000 miles fresher!

Buying local not only provides you with a fresh product, but also stimulates the local economy and supports local producers.
